Our evaluations go beyond simply looking for mold. We assess the building as a system, identifying the moisture conditions, ventilation issues and building defects that contribute to microbial growth. Understanding the cause of the problem is just as important as identifying the mold itself.
Every evaluation includes practical recommendations to help you make informed decisions about your home and indoor environment.
What's Included
Your evaluation includes:
Comprehensive visual inspection of the home and any known affected areas
Moisture investigation using professional moisture detection equipment
Assessment of building conditions that may contribute to mold growth
Evaluation of ventilation, humidity and airflow where appropriate
Recommendations for corrective actions and prevention
A written report with photographs documenting our findings
We don't simply tell you what we found—we explain why it's occurring and how it can be corrected.
Laboratory Testing
Not every property requires laboratory testing.
If testing will provide meaningful information, we will discuss the available options with you before any samples are collected.
Testing is never performed without your knowledge and approval.
Available testing may include:
Air-O-Cell air sampling
Tape lift sampling
Surface swab sampling
VIA-CELL viability testing
Other specialized laboratory testing where appropriate
Laboratory sampling: $105 per sample.

Homes over 2,000 square feet:
Add $0.05 per additional square foot

Travel & Mobilization
To keep our evaluation fees consistent, travel is charged separately based on your location.
Typical travel charges are:

Langley / Surrey — $45–75
Abbotsford / Mission — $95–125
Chilliwack — $125–150
Vancouver / North Shore — $75–125
Powell River — Included
Vancouver Island, Whistler and other remote locations — Quoted individually
Travel charges help cover technician travel time, vehicle expenses and mobilization.
If Remediation Is Recommended
If your evaluation identifies a mold or indoor environmental issue requiring remediation, we'll explain our recommendations and answer any questions you may have.
Should you proceed with All Clear Mold & Pathogen Solutions Inc. for whole-home biodecontamination, the full $395 evaluation fee will be credited toward your remediation invoice.
